Meet Our Founder and CEO:

 

Geoff Quartermaine Bastin
 

Geoff is an accomplished Agribusiness Specialist, Economist, and Engineer with 40 years of global experience in agriculture and agribusiness value chain development, international trade, and market analysis. His extensive career has spanned Africa, the Middle East and Asia.

Geoff's career in Asia began in 1990 as Regional Manager for Cargill Technical Services. After a period with the Asian Development Bank, he founded FoodWorks Company Limited in 2004. This initial success led to the establishment of other enterprises, culminating in the formation of FoodWorks Holding UK Limited in 2018.

 

His expertise covers a wide range of agricultural sectors, including food grains, horticulture, and livestock. His recent work includes projects in China (livestock), Laos (agribusiness policy), Pakistan (food safety), and the Solomon Islands (factory design).

Geoff was educated at Oxford University and the Royal School of Military Engineering (British Army).
